AI workshops

Workshops that make you do something differently tomorrow.

Learning by doing

Our workshops in Hamburg, on Crete or online are not PowerPoint battles. You work directly with AI tools on real tasks from your working day.

Seymour Papert was convinced that you don't understand technology by just watching it. You have to work with it, try things out, make mistakes and create something of your own. From that he developed a new approach to learning with computers. The computer was not meant to teach. People were meant to discover something with it. That is exactly how our AI workshops work: fewer slides, more doing.

What we do differently

There are now a surprising number of events that promise to teach people how AI will change their working day. The trouble is that after half a day, what often remains is a mix of tool demo, future folklore and a vague feeling that you really ought to look into the subject now.

We think that is not enough.

After a good workshop, participants behave differently. They know where AI helps them in concrete terms, where it saves time and where it creates risks. And they don't go home with twelve buzzwords, but with two or three things they will actually do differently the next day.

That's why we work on real tasks instead of made-up examples. Fewer slides, more applying. Less marvelling at the tool, more thinking about how to work with it sensibly.

Who this is for

Not everyone needs the same workshop. A management team asks different questions from a marketing department. A beginner first needs orientation. A specialist team usually wants to know how to use AI sensibly in its own process, without data protection, quality or responsibilities disappearing into the fog.

That's why our workshops don't always look the same: sometimes an introduction, sometimes strategy, sometimes very hands-on. Some are worthwhile precisely because different roles sit in the same room and work through the same question together for the first time.

Who it's for

Beginners

You may have tried ChatGPT once, but you don't use it systematically.

Business users

You want to use AI for marketing, customer service or documentation.

Teams

Your whole team should be on the same page when it comes to AI.

Executives

You have to decide where AI belongs in the company.

It works without an open date, too

Many companies don't need an off-the-shelf workshop at all. They need a session about their tools, their processes, their questions and sometimes their internal resistance.

For that there are tailored formats: on site, online or in a small group with a clear focus. Sometimes a compact introduction, sometimes a workshop for executives, sometimes a working session with a team that doesn't need another lecture but a better way of working.

If you can't see any open dates right now, something is still possible. We just haven't announced anything publicly at the moment. Simply write to us.

Questions and answers

Do I need prior knowledge for the workshops?

No, our beginner workshops are for anyone who wants to get to know AI, whatever their technical background. For advanced workshops we recommend a basic grasp of AI, which you can pick up in our beginner workshop, for example. Every workshop clearly states the level it requires.

How big are the groups?

We deliberately run open workshops with small groups of no more than 12 participants. That leaves time for your questions and for individual support. In-house workshops are designed for 6–15 people.

Are the workshops online or on site?

We offer both: open workshops are online by default (Teams or Zoom), so you can join from anywhere. In-house workshops take place on site at your premises, hybrid if you prefer. Online workshops are just as interactive thanks to breakout rooms and collaborative tools.

Can I also book a workshop for my team (in-house)?

Yes, and it is particularly worthwhile. We tailor in-house workshops to your industry, your tools and your use cases, so your team learns directly for their daily work. Prices start at €2,500 for a half day, for up to 15 people. Get in touch for an individual quote.

What if I have to cancel a date?

Up to 14 days before the workshop starts, you can cancel or rebook free of charge. For later cancellations we charge 50%, from 7 days before 100%. Of course you can name a substitute at any time. In case of illness, we will meet you halfway.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, after every workshop you receive a certificate of participation with the following details: workshop title, date, duration, content, and your name. The certificate is digital and can be used as proof of further training or on LinkedIn. For multi-day courses there is also a detailed competence certificate.

What technical equipment do I need?

For online workshops: a laptop or PC with webcam, microphone, a stable internet connection (at least 10 Mbit/s) and a modern browser. We use Teams or Zoom. For practical exercises you need access to the tools we discuss (mostly free versions). Before the workshop you receive a detailed checklist.

Are there discounts for several participants?

Yes. From 3 participants from one company we give a 10% discount, from 5 participants 15%. We offer special terms for educational institutions and NGOs. Get in touch.

How do I book a workshop?

Send us an email at info@todayislife.de with the workshop, your preferred date and the number of participants. We will get back to you personally. Payment is by invoice (14 days to pay). Alternatively, you can reach us by phone on 0160 816 51 22.

Do you also offer tailored training?

Yes, we design training programmes for your company. We shape content, duration, format and examples around your requirements. Particularly popular: AI introduction for executives, prompt engineering for marketing teams, or AI automation for administration. Tell us what you want to achieve.
