Since 2020, a close partnership has linked us with FairTax Lohnsteuerhilfe e.V. from Hamburg. Under the leadership of Volker Schilke, the association campaigns for a fair tax culture and transparency and, according to FairTax, is a member of the Bund der Steuerzahler (German Taxpayers' Federation).

FairTax e.V. – together against wasted taxes

Where does our tax money go? FairTax e.V. campaigns for transparency and a fair tax culture. According to FairTax, the association is a member of the Bund der Steuerzahler and thus supports a community that looks very closely: the federation publishes the “Schwarzbuch” (Black Book), and its board members are regularly guests on programmes such as “Mario Barth deckt auf” to denounce the waste of public funds in the media spotlight. FairTax e.V. builds the bridge between the individual taxpayer and this strong lobby group.

About FairTax Lohnsteuerhilfe e.V.

FairTax Lohnsteuerhilfe e.V., based in Hamburg (Randstraße 1, 22525 Hamburg), is a registered wage tax assistance association (Lohnsteuerhilfeverein) dedicated to fair and transparent tax advice for employees, pensioners and trainees. The association is led by Volker Schilke and combines professional wage tax assistance with a clear social commitment to tax transparency.

According to FairTax, the association is a member of the Bund der Steuerzahler and thus part of a community that campaigns against wasted taxes. Each year the Bund der Steuerzahler publishes the “Schwarzbuch”, which exposes the waste of public tax money. Board members of the federation are regularly guests on programmes such as “Mario Barth deckt auf” to make problems visible to a wide public. Wage tax assistance

Professional support with the income tax return for employees, pensioners and trainees. FairTax e.V. helps its members make use of all permitted tax benefits and makes sure the tax return is correct and submitted on time.

Tax advice

Advice on tax questions concerning employment income, pensions and certain other income, within the legal powers of wage tax assistance associations (§ 4 Nr. 11 StBerG). The association explains tax options in an understandable way and accompanies its members through the process.

Membership of the Bund der Steuerzahler

According to the association, FairTax e.V. is itself a member of the Bund der Steuerzahler, a lobby group for the responsible use of tax money. How this affects the association's members is explained by FairTax on its own website; the information on the membership comes from the partner.
