HKI Institut – coaching & counselling with the “Plus”

The HKI Institut offers business and personal coaching as well as psychological counselling. The focus is on the person with their individual challenges – whether in a professional context, in exam preparation or in private periods of upheaval. What makes it special is the “Plus”: the combination of systemic process support and effective relaxation methods for stress prevention. The HKI Institut supports managers, teams and individuals in dissolving blockages and developing options for action of their own.

Services in detail

Four core areas of systemic process support.

Business coaching

For entrepreneurs and managers, the HKI Institut offers professional seminars, team development and career advice. The focus is on systemic process support, backed by many years of HR responsibility and solid industry experience. Strategies developed together for the professional path.

Personal coaching

Personal coaching “with the Plus for career & education”: whether the application process, exam preparation, professional reorientation or the step into self-employment. Susanne Wagner works with scientific methods and accompanies every step.

Psychological counselling

Professional counselling for mentally healthy people with concrete problems in life. The focus is on developing strategies for mental health and on process support. A safe space to recognise connections and work out individual options for action.

Relaxation therapy

Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) after Jacobson, a scientifically recognised method. Demonstrably helps with sleep disorders, high blood pressure, headaches, back pain, tinnitus and difficulty concentrating. Can be used anywhere and at any time once the technique has been learned.

Why the HKI Institut?

  1. Active professional experience since 1986. Experience in coaching, counselling and HR responsibility. This practical experience shapes the counselling.
  2. Systemic approach. Instead of treating individual symptoms, the institute looks at the whole situation. Recognising connections, understanding patterns and developing options for action.
  3. Flexible: in person, online or by phone. Counselling takes place wherever suits the client best: in person in Hamburg, by video conference or by phone.
  4. MHFA-accredited first aider. Certified first aider for mental health (Mental Health First Aid). That helps in dealing with sensitive situations.

Our partnership

Today is Life has supported the HKI Institut with its digital presence since 2019. From the first website concept through technical implementation to continuous further development.

Together we built the HKI Institut's website, integrated online booking systems and worked on search engine optimisation. As a result, Susanne Wagner today reaches exactly the people who can benefit from her expertise.

Both sides share the conviction that real collaboration is worth more than quick results.

Frequently asked questions

What is systemic process support?

Systemic process support means looking at the client's whole situation. Instead of treating individual symptoms, connections are recognised and understood. There is no template. Instead, individual options for action that suit the client's particular life situation are developed together.

Who is the HKI Institut's coaching suitable for?

The coaching is aimed at entrepreneurs and managers, working people going through processes of change, school and university students with exam anxiety, and people in life crises. In the business area, team development and seminars for companies are also offered.

What is progressive muscle relaxation (PMR)?

Progressive muscle relaxation after Jacobson is a scientifically recognised relaxation method. By deliberately tensing and relaxing particular muscle groups, deep physical and mental relaxation is achieved. The method can be used anywhere and demonstrably helps with stress-related complaints such as sleep disorders, headaches or back pain.

How does a counselling session at the HKI Institut work?

Every counselling begins with an initial conversation to analyse the situation. Together, individual goals are defined and options for action are worked out step by step. Counselling can take place in person in Hamburg, online by video conference or by phone, entirely according to the client's needs.

What does a session at the HKI Institut cost?

The costs depend on the scope and format of the counselling. The HKI Institut offers individual quotes as well as fair prices for group seminars. A non-binding initial conversation serves to clarify the framework. You can get in touch via the website hki-institut.de or by phone on +49 40 414 35 88 22.
