PWA · End-to-end encrypted document management
Fluchttresor
One place for the most important documents on the road: encrypted, usable offline and in six languages.
Fluchttresor is an app for refugees that stores important documents such as passports, certificates and vaccination records in encrypted form. It also works offline, can be used in six languages and releases documents in a targeted, time-limited way when needed.
A safe place for the most important documents
People who have to flee often lose their paper documents or cannot take them along in the first place: passport, certificates, vaccination records, medical files. Fluchttresor is a progressive web app that keeps exactly these documents digitally in encrypted form, so they stay available on the road without having to carry the originals.
The target group is refugees and displaced people who want to store their documents safely and, when needed (with authorities, doctors or family members), release them in a targeted, time-limited way. The interface is available in six languages (German, English, Arabic, Persian, Ukrainian, French), including right-to-left display for Arabic and Persian.
Technically, the app encrypts documents on the device before they are uploaded. The operator cannot view the contents itself (zero-knowledge principle). Documents can be categorised, shared with other family members through granular permissions and given expiry reminders, for temporary visas for example.
